Miss Caroline and Atticus have very different styles of teaching; they teach different things to Scout. Miss Caroline has very strong belifes and Atticus goes with the flow. Miss Caroline is a more strucktered teacher and and Atticus didn't intend on teaching Scout how to read it just happened.

TS Miss Caroline and Atticus are very different teachers to Scout. SD Their jobs as teachers are different, Atticus is Scout's dad and he is teaching her things about life, not how to write like Miss Caroline.CM Atticus has taught Scout how to stand up for herself, "If you don’t hush I’ll knock you bowlegged." CM He also teaches Scout how to be polite, and respectful to others.SD Miss Caroline teaches Scout schoolwork like how to read and write. CM Miss Caroline gets mad at Scout for knowing how to read already, because Atticus taught her. CM Miss Caroline is very nice, she offers to give a boy that is very poor some money “here is a quarter, you can pay me back tomorrow," but she is a very strict teacher unlike Atticus. SD Miss Caroline and Atticus do have some similarities though, they both want to teach Scout how to read. CM They are also both very generous and not judgemental.CM “Now, don't you be talking about the Radley's house that way!" CS They have different ways to teach Scout, but they both have a strong role in her life.

As you can see Miss Caroline and Addicus are very different. Scout has them both to teach her different things and she needs them both for different learning challenges. Miss Caroline and Atticus never had the same way of teaching and never will.

essay #2 Edward Cullen a Unique Person

When I say strage person, what do you think about? Maybe a person who eats strange things or has strage habits. But has the word "vampire" ever crossed your mind? Well, Edward Cullen is a very strange person, not just because he's a vampire though.

TS Edward Cullen is a unique person in the book and movie saga, Twilight, by Stephenie Meyer. SD Edward is a very mystical and mysterious guy mostly because of the way he looks. CM His eyes change colors; for instance you could be talking to him and one moment they're gold and then you blink and they're red. CM When it is sunny outside, he literally sparkles like diamonds. SD Edward is a vampire who has special abilities other vampires and humans don't have. CM He is not alive, has no soul and is cold blooded. CM Instead of feeding on human's blood he feeds on animals. SD He can also read people's minds, which is not always a good thing because he can hear what people are saying about him. CM He is always listening to thoughts and never sleeps. CM When Edward listens to Bella's thoughts he can run at the speed of light to her if she's in danger. CS Even though Edward Cullen is a strange and unique person, he cares alot a lot about Bella.

Edward is a very strage person. From what he eats to what he looks like. But when it comes to Bella, his girlfriend, he is a normal person. He loves her and would do anything for her, Edward is a unique person.

This Song the "summer winds" describes my summer very well. It tells you that summer fells like its going to last forever and then you blink and its gone. To me summer is like little grains of sand slipping through my fingers and there are less and less and then its gone, and that song describes my feelings very well.

TS The summer “came blowin’ in from across the sea,” and it left just as fast. SD Once summer started it felt like it would never end, then the clock started ticking, slowly trip by trip, summer started to vanish. CM The summer winds took me over the Atlantic sea from island to island.CM I spent my summer on beautiful islands like Martha’s Vineyard and Block Island. SD Although, those August days and nights went flying by, “like a painted kite in the sky, they are still vivid in my memory.” CM The wind blew me to bon fires and to nights with smores, trips to the "secret beach" on Fisher’s Island and long boat rides around Martha’s Vineyard. CM I don’t think I could have had a better summer if I had tryed.SD Unfortunately, September and school kept creeping around the corner, each day getting closer and closer. CM I tried to push it to the back of my head, but all of the homework to come got me nervous for eight grade. CM When it came to the last days of summer reality started to kick in. CS "Mmm the summer wind" I could still feel it blow by me just as fast as the days of summer went by.

In conclustion the summer wind came and went as fast a grains of sand slipping through your fingers. Although summers over and were back at school there will be another summer and another year of school always follows it. Like a gust of wind carrying you through life.
